Kick Space Technologies has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on strategic collaboration with Space BD Inc.
Through this MOU, we will more firmly advance the arrangement and securing of launch slots for the satellite missions we study and win, leveraging Space BD's launch-service expertise and network. Furthermore, for the spacecraft components we develop, we will further accelerate market expansion through sales cooperation via Space BD's domestic and international network.
Regarding launches, we will proceed with discussions on the premise of receiving one-stop support for the entire series of processes required for a launch — including the selection and coordination of transportation means, responding to safety reviews, confirming compliance with technical requirements, and handling import/export and transportation procedures (including compliance with the Foreign Exchange Act and regulations on dangerous goods in air transport). Through this, we aim to reduce the burden on our company and our customers across development, launch, and commercialization, and to realize missions more reliably.
Taking this partnership as an opportunity, the two companies will strengthen technical and commercial collaboration and work together to build a sustainable space-industry ecosystem.
